Places of interest
Although we are talking about a village of only 400 inhabitants, the cultural heritage is abundant.
Interesting historical locations include the Collegiate of Sant Pere (popularly known as the castle), the Church of Sant Vicenç, the Hermitage of la Mare de Déu de Pedra and the Hermitage of la Mare de Déu de la Pertusa, amongst others.
In addition, Montsec is considered a ‘Starlight Reserve’ due to the unspoilt and unpolluted quality of the night sky. The Centre d’Observació de l’Univers with its planetarium and platform for sky watching is well worth a visit!
